Local commercial bakery based in Seattle is seeking P/T Merchandisers and Route Sales Reps for positions at its various depots in Western Washington. Positions deliver and stock bread products at customers on assigned routes originating from our depots and are 2 -5 days per week depending on location.

Must be 21 years old, have a clean driving record, flexible (starts as early as 6 a.m. including weekends and holidays), have good English language skills, dedicated to customer service and attention to detail. Class "B" license or ability to drive box trucks and previous delivery experience in the food industry are a plus. Union positions requiring membership with 30 days of employment.

We offer reliable efficient service with well trained drivers in first-class equipment. Our terminals are located in Seattle, Pasco and Spokane Washington as well as Portland Oregon.

Transport petroleum products to various cities in the Northwest. Load & unload the truck, handle discharge hoses (approx 60 lbs). Able to work nights, weekends, holidays and various shifts and start times. Tanker experience a plus but willing to train. Minimum driving experience 2 years otr required. Personal protective equipment provided. Must have valid class A CDL with tanker and haz mat endorsement and good driving record with computer skills. Job Description:
Work from order sheets to build loads for transport, bulk and/or route trucks, using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack.  Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy, both on what is loaded onto outgoing trucks and what is unloaded from incoming trucks.

Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of product from the warehouse onto a trailer, and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. May include unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of product from the warehouse, then loading them onto a pallet. Responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet, but properly stacking and shrink wrapping the built pallet. In most cases, loads pallets onto a trailer for local delivery. May include unloading returned product and pallets/plastic flats.

Conventional truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of product from the warehouse, then loading them into the bays of a route truck which the salesperson selected for that particular product/package. Includes unloading returned product/pallets/plastic flats. This is a very physical position.

This position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour work period; as well as bending, reaching and squatting while merchandising and moving products. It may require pre-employment physical capability evaluation.

May not have more than one moving violation (anything other than parking) within the past 12 months.
