The IBT National Port Division Organizing Campaign continued with a huge rally in Long Beach, California on April 17, 2008. Local 174 was represented at the rally by Gary Bolen (Yellow/Local 174 E-Board Member),and 174 member at Horizon Lines Bob Allen.

The Teamsters rally was highlighted by hundreds of  members driving trucks and motorcycles to lead the Union’s contingent to the march.

The keynote speaker was IBT General President James Hoffa. California politicians, other Teamster leaders, United Farm Workers President Arturo Rodriguez, and Unite Here President Bruce Raynor also spoke at the rally.
